Then, he will provide transportation to the Castle of San Felipe, one of the most important tourist places of the city of Cartagena. The castle is located on the Hill of San Lázaro in a strategic location, dominating approaches to the city by land or sea. It was built by the Spanish during the colonial era. After visiting the castle you will visit one of the oldest convents in the city named Popa's church located 150mts high in the top of a hill. La Popa, as we call it, originally served as a refuge for the black Maroons and then used as a stage for fighting and used as a quarter.
